What does a shaman do?

A shaman is a spiritual healer who acts as a mediator between the visible and invisible worlds. In the Nepalese tradition in which I was trained, shamanic rituals are combined with tantric energy work, mantras and the power of the elements. Typical tasks of a shaman are Cleansing negative energies and foreign influences, dissolving karmic blockages, shamanic journeys for spiritual counseling, rituals with fire, water, plants and mantras, contact with ancestors, nature spirits and divine helper energies.
People come with issues such as lack of energy, spiritual crises, relationship problems or the feeling of “not being themselves”. A shaman works not only with techniques, but with dedication, heart and connection to the spiritual world – always in the service of healing and clarity.

What is a shaman?

A shaman is a spiritual healer and mediator between the visible and invisible world. In the Nepalese tradition in which I was trained, the connection to nature, to elements such as fire, water or air and to spiritual helpers such as Shiva or Bhairava is central.
Traditionally, the shaman was a healer, seer, ritual leader and advisor to the community. Today, he supports people with issues such as lack of energy, emotional pain, spiritual orientation or the cleansing of burdensome energies.
Even today, the shaman is a companion on a spiritual level to promote healing, clarity and inner strength.

What is shamanic healing?

Nepalese shamanic healing combines ancient healing rituals with tantric knowledge. In the tradition of my teacher Kedar Upreti (7th generation shaman in Kathmandu), I work with powerful rituals, mantras, fire, Kundalini energy and elements such as flowers and water. The aim is to free the soul and the energy body from blockages – holistically and individually.
